Availability reports show you the availability of your monitored systems and instances, centrally. There are two such IT performance reports:

  • System availability

The availability of one or all monitored systems is shown. A system is available if the message server of the system answers the availability agent CCMSPING (see below), and at least one application server is active at the message server.

The System Availibility report takes planned downtimes, which are ouput in a separate diagramm, into account, so that you can compare actual availability with planned downtimes.

  • Instance availability

The availability of the Java and ABAP instances of a selected monitored system is displayed. An instance is available if it is active at the message server.

Both reports show the availability values as both diagrams and tables.

Note Note

Availability data comes from the CCMS monitoring infrastructure. The reports show values of the following MTE classes:

Availability_SysPercent_ABAP
