System Management
The System Management part of the SAP NetWeaver Administrator includes the following work centers, which you can use to manage your system landscape:
A section that contains everything administrators need for the daily changes that are carried out in a system. Therefore the Administration work center can offer functions such as starting, stopping, creating, and deleting selected systems along with their applications, application resources and users.
This portion consists of an availability overview of the selected systems and an Alert Browser containing all current alerts. In addition, the Central Reports displays sets of monitors identified from the Computer Center Management System (CCMS) and the Java System Reports displays graphical and table views of their performance and resource consumption and gives the option of customizing views.
Apart from the log configuration, the Configuration work center covers tasks for special system configurations mainly performed for system and landscape setup purposes, such as the creation of virtual hosts and the creation/modification of logon groups. The system properties of a selected system (e.g. VM parameters and service settings) can also be verified by the user.
