Assigning an Interchangeability Group to a Model 

Use

With this assignment you specify for which model(s) an interchangeability group is valid. Before you can use an interchangeability group of any type, you must assign it to a model.

Prerequisites

·        You have created an interchangeability group as described in Creating an Interchangeability Group.

·        You have created a model as described in Supply Chain Model, Planning Version, and Supply Chain Engineer.

·        You have assigned the involved products and locations to the model.

Procedure

There are two ways of starting this transaction:

·        Directly from the SAP EASY Access menu by choosing Master Data → Application-Specific Master Data → Product and Location Interchangeability →Assign Interchangeability Group to a Model

·        From the interchangeability master data user interface by choosing  Model Assignment

The Model Assignment screen appears. This screen contains the following two tabs:

·        Model per Interchangeability Group

On the left you see the interchangeability groups and on the right all available models.

Assign a model to the interchangeability group using drag and drop.

·        Interchangeability Group per Model

In this view the models are on the left and the interchangeability groups are on the right.

Assign the interchangeability group to a model using drag and drop.

You can assign an interchangeability group to one model only.

When you have finished the assignment, choose  Save.
