Process Open Tasks
You complete open tasks for the system, regularly in the session.
You have initially setup the session for the central system administration.

1. Choose the transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER.
2. Choose Operations.
3. Choose Solution Monitoring → System Monitoring/Administration.
4. Choose the CSA session symbol:

Tasks 
You go to the CSA session.

Tasks

You go to the list of open tasks.
5. Choose a task for processing.
The system goes to change mode.
6. Process the open tasks.
7. When the task is completed, flag it in the Done column.

You can set the status for one or more tasks of a check at the same time.
■ For one task:
You set the status to completed by setting the flag in the Done column for the task.
■ For several tasks:
You set the status with the pushbuttons in the status bar.

Automatic rating |
The system determines the status of the task group from the status of its tasks. |
All tasks performed |
You set all tasks in the table to Done. The system sets all tasks in the task group to Done. |
Critical issue |
You set the task group to the status Critical, manually. The system passes the status on down to system level. When you set this status, the automatic rating is deactivated for this task group. You must reset this status to Automatic Rating, manually, after performing the task. The Critical Issue symbol indicates tasks with problems, or which you have not yet finished. |
8. Enter a comment in the Comment for Log Book column.

The comments appear in the session report, if you have created the Log History Task in the Report Content check.
9. You can also make notes about the tasks, in the Task Notepad tab.

The notes in the Task Notepad are not output in the report.
Comments in the action list are in their own section at the end of the report. To maintain comments in the action list:
i. Choose Action List in the top menu bar.
ii. choose New Session Action in the following dialog box.
iii. Enter the required data.
iv. Save your entries.

10. You can enter customer-specific task descriptions in the Company-Specific Task Description tab.

This description appears, for user-defined alerts, in the Watcher action.
11. Save your entries.
The check is given the status Task Performed.
12. Save your entries.
