Loading Alternative Resources 

Use

You can use this function to load the alternative resources for operations or orders from the production process models onto the detailed scheduling planning board. You can then the reschedule the operations on the alternative resources.

Prerequisites

In order that you can reschedule an operation on an alternative resource, the latter must lie within the propagation range.

Procedure

...

       1.      Select the operations or orders for which you want to load alternative resources.

       2.      Choose Functions → Load Alternative Resources.

Results

The system loads the alternative resources onto the detailed scheduling planning board.

If you have set the Select Alternative Resources indicator on the detail screen of the planning board profile, the system highlights alternative primary resources in green if you reschedule an operation with Drag&Drop. This function is very performance-intensive.
