This work center is the central point of access to the functions required to manage your systems.

Prerequisites

  • You are authorized for this work center.

  • You have set-up Central System Administration for your solutions. For further information, see the SAP Solution Manager implementation guide (IMG).

  • If you want to show the status of your systems, you have installed and configured the CCMSPING agent in your SAP Solution Manager system. For further information, see the SAP Solution Manager implementation guide (IMG).

Features

Task Management

This view manages tasks in several application areas, centrally. You can manage these tasks by time or application criteria, and display tasks which you have created for systems in the central system administration, in various sub-views. For further information, see Task Management.

Call tools for a system

The following views contain various tools. To show the tools in the Details area, select a system in the list.

You call the tools via hyperlinks in the Details area.

  • Application Server tab

    You can call application server tools, for example spool request output control, via hyperlinks.

  • Main Instances tab

    You can call product-specific tools for your main instances, via hyperlinks, if your system contains products.

    Note Note

    You can call the MDM Administration Cockpit to manage MDM systems. You have installed SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management (MDM), and assigned it to your system as main instance, in the system landscape.

Note Note

The client and RFC connection selection influences the selection of available tools for ABAP-based systems. You can check whether there are RFC connections for your system and client, in the RFC Information.

You can Adjust your Favorites in the system list. You can Manage the Tool List, to change the selection of tools for systems.
