Java System Reports
Java System Reports (JSR) is a problem detection and analysis tool which you can use for the following purposes:
● Monitor the J2EE Engine cluster and SAP Java applications.
● Track the performance of one or all instances and cluster nodes of a particular Java system.
● Detect and analyze the causes of problems in a J2EE Engine performance degradation situation.
● Make motivated tuning for productive use with J2EE Engine.
State data from the J2EE Engine and performance data from the SAP Java applications is presented in charts and reports:
● Chart
Combines several performance monitors and/or JARM monitors. The values of the monitors are used to track the performance in particular problem areas in the system, such as memory consumption.
● Report
Combines several charts that monitor related problem areas in the system. For example, the predefined Resource Consumption report comprises the Memory Consumption and the Threads charts.
JSR provides a set of predefined charts and reports. You can create your own charts and reports. For more information, see Creating and Editing Charts and Creating and Editing Reports.
