System Performance Reports
The respose time is one of the most important system performance criteria for end users, while the number of users logged on is a fundamental measure of system load. There are two IT performance reports to give you a quick overview of the development of these measures over time:
System load overview
The report shows the number of users logged on, and the mean response time, graphically. You can filter by instance type (ABAP or Java) or instance. The mean value for all selected instances is shown.
Logged-on users
The report shows the mean and maximum number of users logged on in a period, graphically. You can restrict the display to just one of these measures, in the drop-down list Displayed Values.
You can filter by instance type (ABAP or Java) or by instance.
The mean value for all selected instances is shown, by default. You can show the values of individual instances by selecting them. The graphical display becomes unclear if too many instances are selected.
The report also shows the number of users and dialog steps, under ABAP/Java User Activity. These values come from the statistics data.
Note
The system performance data comes from the CCMS monitoring infrastructure, except for the data under ABAP/Java User Activity. The reports show values of the following MTE classes:
MTE class |
Meaning |
|---|---|
R3 Users Logged In R3 Dialog Response Time |
The number of users logged on and the dialog response time for ABAP instances. See Dialog Overview Monitor, where these performance values are described in the Alert Monitor |
Sess Mgmt. Logged In Users Count WEB. Average Processing Time |
The number of users logged on and the dialog response time for Java instances |
