Transactions Tab
You can assign transactions, programs and other objects to process steps, in the Transactions tab. This determines the process step for the SAP System.
The selected transactions are proposed as test cases in the SAP Solution Manager test organization, when you generate a test plan.
In order to be able to assign transactions to process steps, you have to Define a System Landscape in the project administration.
You can assign the following objects to process steps:
● CRM BSP applications
● Web Dynpro applications (ABAP or Java)
● Transactions
● Programs

If the system exists, you can even assign transactions and programs which do not yet exist. This can be useful if you want to input all information about a project step now, but implement these transactions or programs later. Confirm the assignment confirmation prompt.
● Job documentation
You can create new job documentation, or assign existing job documentation. For more information, see Job documentation.
● Predefined URLs from directory
You can assign URL objects that you have predefined in the Object Navigator (transaction SE80).
● Web address or file

● You can insert Internet/Intranet links by entering a descriptive text and the web address. You can also insert URL addresses with variables.
Define the value of the variables in Web addresses for your system, under System Administration → Replacing Variables in Web Addresses (URLs), in the SAP Web Application Server customizing.
You can, for example, replace a variable in URLs by the address of your ITS server.
SAP note 541309 explains the meaning of the variables used in the SAP Solution Manager.
● You can change strings in URLs for your entire project, with the program Change URLs in the Solution Manager, e.g. because the fileserver has moved and you now want to change the directory name or fileserver in all affected URLs.
You can specify a file name if the browser you are using supports the application.
You can start or open existing transactions, programs or other objects, in a new session, by double-click.
You can call the online documentation of transactions and programs in the SAP Library.
To put an object in the project scope, select the checkbox in the In Scope column. Deselect the checkbox in the In Scope column, to remove transactions that are no longer required, from the project scope.
You can specify the object whose function is to be performed when you choose the Execute symbol for a process step, by setting the checkbox in the Default column. If you do not set a default, the Execute symbol will start the first object in the list on the tab.
The Template flag indicates that an object is in a Template which is reused in your project. The flag is not set for items you have added in your implementation project.
