Changing URLs in the Solution Manager 

Use

This program changes character strings in web links (URLs) which you have inserted in the Solution Manager Gen. Documentation, Project Documentation or Configuration tabs. You use the Change URLs in the Solution Manager program, for example to change the directory name or file server in all URLs at the same time, because the file server has moved.

You should change all static server and directory names in URLs into variables with the Change URLs in the Solution Manager program.You define the variables for web links (URLs) centrally in SAP Web Application Server customizing, under System Administration → Replace Variable in Web Addresses (URLs).

The program Change URLs in the Solution Manager (SOLAR_DOC_URL_CHANGE) replaces character strings in web links (URLs) in an SAP Solution Manager project.

       1.      Run the program SOLAR_DOC_URL_CHANGE.

       2.      Enter data as required.

Only specify complete URLs, because the program can only replace complete URLs.

       3.      Save the changes.
