Triggering Consolidation from SAP
CRM
Use
If you trigger Global ATP with consolidation from SAP CRM, the system determines whether the consolidation is activated in SAP CRM or SAP SCM. If the consolidation is activated, the system determines the consolidation location.
Prerequisites
If you want to perform consolidation, you have made all the settings for consolidation.
If you do not want to perform consolidation, you have deactivated consolidation in one of the following ways:
● You have set the Do Not Consolidate indicator in the sales order in SAP CRM.
● In SAP SCM, in integrated rule maintenance, you have set the Direct Delivery Without Consolidation indicator.
● You have not specified a consolidation location in SAP CRM or in SAP SCM.
Features
The system checks whether you have deactivated consolidation in either SAP CRM or in SAP SCM. If you have not deactivated consolidation, the system checks whether you have specified a consolidation location in SAP CRM or in SAP SCM.
The system takes account of the following priorities when deciding whether to perform consolidation and which consolidation location to use:
● If consolidation is deactivated in either SAP CRM or SAP SCM, the system does not perform consolidation.
● If consolidation is not deactivated, and a consolidation location is defined in SAP CRM and SAP SCM, the consolidation location from SAP CRM is valid.
Note that the consolidation location from SAP CRM is valid for all determined rules. The consolidation location from SAP SCM is only valid for the rule for which you defined the consolidation location.
The following table contains an overview of how consolidation and the consolidation location are determined, depending on the settings in SAP CRM and in SAP SCM.
