Making Connection Settings Between CEN and SLD 

Use

In this configuration task, you create the required connections between the ABAP Engine of CEN and the administrative SLD. These are:

●      The RFC connection SAPSLDAPI. An appropriate connection is also created in the J2EE Engine of the SLD.

●      The access data for the SLD in transaction SLDAPICUST in the ABAP stack of CEN.

Procedure

In the SAP NetWeaver Administrator of CEN, proceed as follows:

       1.      From the top-level navigation, choose Deploy and Change → Configuration Wizard.

       2.      In the Configuration Tasks screen area, select NWA_02_SLD system: Connect SLD to CEN (if CEN present) from the task list.

       3.      In the upper left-hand Configuration Tasks screen area, choose Start.

       4.      In the ABAP connection data screen area, enter the connection data for the ABAP Engine of CEN:

Input Field	Description
ABAP User Password	Name/password of an ABAP user in CEN.
Application Server Host System Number Client	Access data for the ABAP Engine (application server, system number, and client).

 

       5.      Choose Next.

       6.      In the SLD connection data screen area, enter the connection data for the administrative SLD, and choose Next. More information: Configuring and Activating the Administrative SLD.

       7.      After the execution of the task has finished successfully, choose Return to task list to return to the Configuration Tasks screen.
