Configuring Cluster Element
Properties
This procedure enables you to view and edit the settings concerning a specific cluster element. If you change them, they will apply only to the selected dispatcher or server process of the instance.
From the menu displayed on the command line, choose Instance IDxxxxx (where xxxxx is the ID number of the instance) → Dispatcher IDxxxxxxx or Server IDxxxxxxx depending on which properties you want to view or edit.

View or edit the JVM settings for a specific element:

View or edit the debug properties of a specific server process: · Debuggable – specifies that the selected server process is debuggable (that is, the “debug mode” feature for this server process is enabled) · Debug mode – specifies whether the server process is in debug mode · Restricted load balance – specifies whether the server process is part of the load balancing system. |

View or edit manager or service property:
You cannot edit the global properties. You can edit the local properties only since the changes will apply to the selected cluster element. If you want to change the global properties, see Configuring the Global Properties.

If you want to change a property, choose Edit manager info or Edit service info. 4. The managers or services are displayed, if you want to change particular manager or service properties, enter the corresponding number. 5. The properties are displayed one by one with their global default value, global custom value, local default value, and local custom value. If you change the global properties, the new values will be set as local properties. You can: a. Set a custom value by entering <E> on the command line b. Reset the custom values to the default values by entering <D> c. Reset the local properties values to the global values by entering <G> d. Skip all properties by entering <S> Press Enter to view the next property. |
