Creating Web Dynpro
iViews
SAP NetWeaver Portal enables the creating and running of iViews that run on Web Dynpro technology. Web Dynpro iViews may run Web Dynpro ABAP or Web Dynpro Java. Web Dynpro Java applications being consumed may reside locally or at a remote location; and they may represent a single or multiple Web Dynpro windows and views.

The View wizard has a single entry point for all the Web Dynpro Java iView creation options.
The portal uses its application integration technology to create remote Web Dynpro Java iViews – the same technology that enables the creation of SAP Application iViews (see Creating SAP Application iViews). This technology enables a variety of iView creation options:
iView Type |

The Web Dynpro ABAP iView should not be confused with the iViews created over SAP Applications, which are portal iViews that integrate various back-end, mostly ABAP, applications. |
