The following example lists demonstrate how to use the Layout Designer to create basic lists.

Choosing the Layout Designer

Proceed as follows to tell the system that you want to use the Layout Designer and not the Query Painter to create a basic list.

  1. Choose Settings → Settings .
  2. In the Settings This graphic is explained in the accompanying text dialog box, deactivate the Graphical Query Painter check box and click on This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

The Settings dialog box closes.
