Displaying the Transport Status and Transport Logs (CTS_ORGANIZER)

Use

Note CTS_ORGANIZER is available only if the CTS plug-in is installed in the ABAP system in which you start Transport Organizer Web UI. Otherwise, CTS_BROWSER is used.

After releasing a transport request you should check that the release was completed without errors. The icon in the RC (Return Code) column gives an overall result of the export. You get more detailed information in the transport log.

Procedure

Display Transport Status

Start Transport Organizer Web UI (CTS_ORGANIZER).
Select a transport request in the overview.
Select the Logs tab page in the Details view.

An icon gives information on the transport status together with a description of the return code (RC description). The table displays the source system of the transport request and all target systems for which a transport route has been configured. It also displays the target systems in which the transport request was imported using the manual forwarding function.

Display Transport Logs

Start Transport Organizer Web UI (CTS_ORGANIZER).
Choose the Logs tab page in the Details view.
To display the transport log for a specific system, expand the node in front of the system and choose Details.

The appropriate transport log is displayed.
