The universal worklist (UWL) allows you to manage your work by bringing together tasks from different workflow systems. These include:

      Workflows

      Alerts

      Notifications from Knowledge Management (KM)

      Notifications from SAP Business Workplace (SAP Office Mail)

      Collaboration tasks

The Universal Worklist (UWL) provides central access to tasks, alerts, and authorizations. You use the UWL to manage and monitor your tasks.

Features

The UWL does the following:

      Provides a uniform layout and central access to your work and required information

      Summarizes workflow tasks from different systems in a worklist

      Displays additional information from document and object repositories, if necessary, including attachments and other details

      Supports decision making and actions

      Helps you personalize the display of your tasks

      Enables you to define another user as a substitute for your tasks in the event of an unplanned absence

The collaboration task makes it possible for you to create tasks spontaneously using the task creation wizard.
