You configure the levels of top-level navigation by setting a property in the Classic Framework Page.

Prerequisites

You have copied the Classic Framework Page. For more information, see SAP Note 687485.

Procedure

  1. Launch the Portal Content Studio. In top-level navigation, choose   Content Administration   Portal Content  .

  2. In the Portal Catalog, choose   Portal Users   Standard Portal Users  . This folder contains the Classic Framework Page.

  3. Right-click Classic Framework Page and choose   Open   Object  .

  4. In the Property Editor, from the Property Category dropdown list, choose Navigation.

  5. In the Number of Levels in Top-Level Navigation property, select the value 0, 1, or 2, depending on how many navigation levels, if any, you want for top-level navigation. Levels following this number continue in the Detailed Navigation iView.

    Caution Caution

    Choosing 0 removes top-level navigation and displays your entire navigation structure in the Detailed Navigation iView.

  6. Click Save.

Note Note

The following properties exist for backward compatibility reasons. If used together with the Number of Levels in Top-Level Navigation property, they have no effect:

  • Number of Display Levels in the Top-Level Navigation iView

  • Start at Level in the Detailed Navigation iView

  • Number of Display Levels in TLN in the Content Area iView
