Driver Files 

Driver files delivered as standard for the periphery devices of the mobile devices may already exist on the server after the installation. Some additional driver files must be converted into the SDA format and deployed on the server before you can use SAP MI (see Converting Archives for a Mobile Component and Deploying Mobile Components on the Server).

Driver files belong to the Add-On type.

You require a connector for the driver files that are shipped as standard. If this connector is not installed on the device, you can deploy it together with the driver files. The order of installation on the device is not relevant.

You can use the driver selection tool to select the suitable drivers (see Driver Selection Tool).

You can configure the drivers with parameters. For more information, see Configuration of Mobile Devices Using Device Configurations.
