The System Landscape Graphic tab displays the Q-Gates of a project, together with the systems and the transport paths, in graphic form. You can also see the status of your software distribution.
Note
Depending on where you position the cursor, some of the pushbuttons above the graphic may not be active:
If you position the cursor on the Q-Gate, for example, only the Quality Gate Details pushbutton is active.
The Create Transport Request and Release Transport Request pushbuttons are only active if the cursor is on the development system.
The Start Import pushbutton is only active for downstream systems, so it is not active if the cursor is on the development system.
The System Landscape Graphic tab has the following pushbuttons:
Quality Gate Details: By putting the cursor on the Q-Gate rectangle and clicking this pushbutton, a dialog box displays, in which you can do the following:
For Q-Gates that are not green (that is, not passed) yet, you can set the status for the quality gate and view the Q-Gate Status Change Log.
Upload Q-Gate Documents and download them to your computer, as well as delete them and view the Document Change Log.
View, create, assign, and remove Issues relating to this Q-Gate, as well as call up an Issue Change Log. For more information, see Working with Issues.
Create Transport Request and Release Transport Request pushbuttons: See Creating and Releasing a Transport Request.
Start Import: See Importing Projects.
Enable / Disable Import Lock: See Enabling / Disabling Import Locks
Display Risks: See Risks Tab.
Logon: When you select a system in the graphic and choose Logon, based on the selected system, the system displays a dialog window in which you can decide which target system you want to log on.
Example
If the selected system is a pure Java system and the system role type is “development system”, two options are provided: Java system or enhanced CTS browser.
If the selected system is a pure Java system and the system role type is not development system, you can directly log on to the Java system.
Display Legend: Shows explanations for all system statuses and Quality Gate statuses.
The status of the transport distribution of a system is displayed according to the following color coding:
Color of Transport Distribution Status | System Status |
---|---|
Green | OK |
Yellow | Warning exists |
Red | Error exists |
The following conditions lead to the different colors displayed:
Condition | Status/Color |
---|---|
System without risks | Fine with green color |
System with missing transports | Warning with yellow color |
System with open transports | Warning with yellow color |
System with synchronization error | Error with red color |
System with more than one risk | Color of the most serious risk is displayed |
System with transport errors | Alert icon is displayed |
