Copy Default Settings 

Use

You want to copy session and task customizing from one system into another, or into all systems with one or more solutions. You can copy the following settings:

●      User views

●      Task frequencies

●      Customer-specific task descriptions

●      User-defined tasks

●      Customizing Task Log Book and Task Log History

Prerequisites

You have selected the view ENTIRE in the Choose Administration and Monitoring Work Area check.

Procedure

       1.      Select the Copy Customizing check.

       2.      Choose the source system to be copied, from the possible entries help in the Solution System column in the Copy Customizing from System tab.

The system fills other fields automatically.

       3.      You can copy customizing for some or all systems of a solution.

Choose one or more target systems, from the possible entries help in the Target Solution column in the Copy Customizing to System tab.

○       All systems of a solution

Choose one or more target solutions from the possible entries help in the Copy Customizing to Solutions tab.

You can perform several copies in parallel.

The system copies the source system customizing into each system in the target solution.

       4.      Indicate the amount of data to be copied, in the Copy Session tab:

○       General customizing of the session, and/or

○       User-specific tasks

If you do not set a flag, the system copies the general customizing and the user-defined tasks.

       5.      Save your entries

       6.      Confirm the dialog box.

The system copies the customizing as soon as you call the central system administration session for the target system.
