 User-Specific Settings

Use

You can make user-specific settings for all WCM objects ( work approval , application , and work clearance document ). However, the plant-wide settings that you can make for the individual WCM objects are different.

Features

In Customizing for Work Clearance Management you can define the following under Maintain Application Profile .

  • A standard value for each WCM object

  • Whether the user can change the user-specific settings

You can make settings for a maximum of four areas:

  • General (applies only to work clearance documents)

    You can define the layout of the various screens.

  • Confirmation prompts

    You can specify that you must confirm a confirmation prompt in order to perform a certain action.

  • Default values

    You can specify that default values for a technical object are adopted for different list editing functions.

  • List comparison (applies only to work clearance documents)

    You can define the layout, filter, and comparison parameters for the list comparison.

Activities

Starting from the WCM object concerned, choose Start of the navigation path Extras Next navigation step Settings End of the navigation path .
