Use

This function enables you to have the system carry out various evaluations and also define your own evaluations for the objects in an organizational structure.

If required, you can also compare two organizational structures to determine whether or how the objects in a structure are included in a different structure.

You want to know, for example, which persons that are included in a structure in the domestic base are assigned to an operational structure by means of an additional relationship.

Prerequisites

Before you can evaluate structures, the following prerequisites must be met:

In Customizing for Defense Forces & Public Security , you have defined an initial structure , for whose objects the evaluation is to be carried out, by choosing Organizational Flexibility Structures Workbench Define Structure Evaluations . You specify an evaluation path for determining the required objects and, if necessary, you can also restrict the selection to specified relationships.

If you want to compare this initial structure with a different structure, you have to define this second structure as a target structure (such as the domestic base structure) in the same IMG activity, in the same way as for the initial structure.
In Customizing for Defense Forces & Public Security , you have defined one or more evaluation types (such as the operational structure) by choosing Organizational Flexibility Structures Workbench Define Structure Evaluations .

An evaluation type includes the function module that carries out the evaluation and that controls how the result display is formatted and, if necessary (for a structure comparison), the specification of the relationship and relationship direction that you want to evaluate (for example, the temporary duty).

You also specify which evaluation types are to be available for which initial structure or combination of initial and target structure.

Reporting

In the Initial Structure/Target Structure field, you specify which initial structure or which combination of initial and target structure is to be evaluated.

In the Evaluation Type field, you specify which evaluation is to be carried out.

The following evaluations are shipped with the standard system:
- Organizational Structure – Loans
  - Material on Loan
    
    Shows which material has been on or will be on loan.
  - Borrowed Material
    
    Shows which material has been on or will borrowed.
- Org. Structure – Assignment of Acct Assgmt Objects
  
  Displays the assignments to account assignment objects.

Activities

Start the Structure Evaluations application (transaction /ISDFPS/OM_REF).
Enter the required selection and evaluation parameters.
Choose Execute.
