The selected architecture determines the rules of assignment between the WCM objects .

You can use Customizing settings to further restrict the assignment rules.

You can determine that an approval can only be issued when a WCM object is assigned to another WCM object.

Depending on the system status or approval status, you can also define that the assignments to other WCM objects are automatically revoked. However, the assignment is only revoked once the WCM object has been saved.

The system logs the assignments in a history.
