 Material Information

Definition

The authorized materials assigned to a reference force element in the form of material planning objects (MPOs), material containers (MCs), and/or reportable item codes (RICs).

Use

You assign a reference force element MPOs , MCs , and/or RICs in order to define its authorized materials, that is, the materials required (non-consumable goods).

Structure

The following tab pages are available in the Structures Workbench :

  • Material Plng Object tab page

    On this tab page, you assign the reference force element MPOs as authorized materials (analogous to the tab page of the same name for the force element).

  • Material Container tab page

    On this tab page, you assign the reference force element MCs as authorized materials (analogous to the tab page of the same name for the force element).

  • Reportable Item Code tab page

    On this tab page, you assign the reference force element RICs as authorized materials.

    Note Note

    The RIC can also be used to describe the personnel information .

    • Reportable Item Code

      The assigned RIC.

    • Short Description

      A short description of the assigned RIC.

    • Description

      A long description of the assigned RIC.

    • Number

      The number/quantity of material required.

    • Start Date / End Date

      The validity period of the assignment between the reference force element and the RIC.

    • Status

      The status of the assignment between the reference force element and the RIC. You can change the assignment status by choosing this pushbutton.

    • Comments

      A user-defined text about the assignment.

      To show and hide fields, you can choose Change Layout.

These assignments are stored in tables of the FORCER framework .
