Readiness The degree of readiness and armed forces classification of a force element.
To accurately describe and identify force elements, you can enter their degree of readiness and arrange them by armed forces classification.
The following fields/field groups are available in the
Structures Workbench
on the
Readiness
tab page:
Level of Readiness (in %)
The level of the current readiness of a force element in terms of material, personnel, and training.
You specify (in percent) the level of readiness of personnel, material, and training in terms of the current actual level of readiness. The threshold values determine the color of the traffic-light symbols (green = ready for action, yellow = partly ready for action, red = out of action) that are used to represent the level of readiness.
Personnel
You enter the level of readiness of the personnel, in percent.
Material
You enter the level of readiness of the material, in percent.
Training
You enter the level of readiness with regard to the training status, in percent.
In each subsequent
Comment
field, you can enter an explanatory text.
The data for the level of readiness is stored in table /ISDFPS/FORCE .
In Customizing for
Defense Forces & Public Security
, you define the threshold values (in percent) by choosing
.
The threshold values can be overridden for each force element. To do so, choose
Create Thresholds
and enter the required values. All nine threshold values must be specified. When you create these threshold values, you override the:
Threshold values defined in Customizing
Overridden threshold values of higher-level force elements
These threshold values are stored in table /ISDFPS/FORCE_PRIO and are passed on to lower-level force elements.
Note
If necessary, you can choose
Update Structure Tree
to update the data immediately. Note, however, that this can take some time, depending on the number of objects concerned.

Besides specifying the degree of readiness manually, you can also configure the system to calculate the degree of readiness automatically. For more information, see Determination of Readiness Using Weighting .
