 Armed Forces-Specific Position Characteristics (Infotype 1958)

Definition

The properties of a position that are specific to armed forces.

Use

In addition to the standard position properties, you can use armed forces-specific properties to describe positions.

Structure

The following fields are available in the Structures Workbench on the Specific Chars tab page:

  • Country

    The country assigned.

  • Organizational Area

    The organizational area assigned.

  • Contained in Position Range

    Indicates whether the position is to be included in the actual range of positions. You can use positions that are not contained in the position range to assign persons temporarily, for example.

The data is stored in infotype 1958 (component specific).

  • Usage Type

    Specifies the structures in which the position is included.

  • Position Holder in Operation

    An indicator derived from relationship 805 that specifies whether the position holder is deployed in an operation.
