Printing Operational Tags An operational tag is a printout of an item of an Operational WCD . This printout is attached on site to a technical object and indicates that the technical object is switched.
In order to document a lockout/tagout , you can print an operational tag for each item of an Operational WCD. You need special authorization to print an operational tag. We distinguish between the first printout (original) and the following printout (copy).
Operational tags are normally printed in the operational cycle . However, you can also bring the printout forward in time. This is necessary when you perform a revision, as all the shop papers must be prepared in advance.
There are two types of operational tags:
Tag
This operational tag is attached on site to a technical object and indicates that the technical object is tagged .
You can print tags in the
first
tagging phase. When printing a tag, the status
PTAG
(
Tag printed
) is set in the Operational WCD item.
You can define possible tag print formats in Customizing for Work Clearance Management . You specify the final print format in the Operational WCD.
Test tag
This operational tag is attached on site to a technical object and indicates that the technical object is temporarily untagged for testing purposes.
You can print test tags in the
first
temporary untagging phase. When printing a test tag, the status
PTST (Test tag printed)
is set in the Operational WCD item.
You specify the printing format for test tags in Customizing for
Work Clearance Management
by assigning a corresponding print format for test tags to each tag print format.
