Reference Object and Object List You can enter a reference object in a WCM object . This can be either a functional locationor equipment. However, it is not possible to enter both.
The reference object must be included in the installation structure of the
Plant Maintenance
(PM) component.
The location data are derived from the master record of the reference object in the WCM object.
You can use the optional check “reference object” to check whether a technical object to be switched is already the reference object of an active lockout/tagout.
You can enter further technical objects in a so-called object list. This is particularly advisable, if, for example, border armatures are defined and tagged for a lockout/tagout . In this case the object list can contain the list of all tagged components (therefore, also those which are within the border armature).
If an object list exists for a reference object of a WCM object, you cannot change the reference object in the WCM object.
If there is an active lockout/tagout for a reference object, this is highlighted.
You can determine that approvals are assigned automatically when the status
PREP (Prepared)
is set for a WCM object.
Note
In Customizing, you can specify an approval determination based on the reference object.
