  Location Code

Definition

The NATO identification system for specifying the exact location of airports, ports, barracks, and so on that is provided by the NATO Consultation, Command and Control Agency (NC3A).

Use

Use this object to describe the location of a force element in a format suitable for export to non-SAP systems.

You can store a location code for any address.

Structure

A location data record consists of:

  • A location code (unique, six-character code to identify a location)

  • Descriptive property fields (country, city, type of location, access, coordinates)

  • Administrative properties (last changed on, last changed by, and so on)
