System Switch Preparation: Receiving System
Use
When the system is switched for a force element, the coordinating workflow for the system switch must be triggered in the receiving system to complete the preparatory measures and the receiving system must be selected in this system as the new operational system.
This workflow triggers the following follow-up actions in the background:
The issuing system sends an IDoc to the receiving system to select this system as the new operational system for the force element concerned.
The issuing system starts the coordinating workflow in the receiving system via IDoc for the system switch to trigger the final actions.
This workflow prompts the agent responsible to carry out the following checks:
Using the
Status Monitor for ALE Messages
application (transaction BD87) to check whether the IDoc for selecting the new operational system in the receiving system was sent successfully.Using the
Status Monitor for ALE Messages
application (transaction BD87) to check whether the IDoc was sent successfully that triggers the workflow to trigger the final actions.
The agent can trigger distribution manually if required.
