Flight Plan The flight plan lists all the flights that exist in the system for a given period and thus provides a quick overview of all flight-relevant data and simplified management of flight operations.
The
Support for Flight Operations – Flight Plan
application (transaction /ISDFPS/LMFLP1) provides the following main functions:
Filtering and sorting
Forward navigation to detail screens for the flight and master equipment
Data from the flight and master equipment, the various statuses, and the configuration are displayed in the flight plan. It is possible to go from the flight plan to these objects and functions, and to the
Controlled Usage Rate
application.
In Customizing under (view cluster /ISDFPS/V_CLMSH), you have defined the graphical utilization overview (equipment utilization). (Also see Event Monitor and Availability Check .)
The following data is available in the system:
Master data
Movement data (flights)
The flight plan lists in a table all flights that are within a certain period or meet other selection criteria. You can use the layout functions to modify the table to meet your requirements. Note that you cannot display flights already completed from a business perspective.
If you use the
Automatic Update
function, the data is permanently updated (see
Settings
section). You can use the
Update List
pushbutton to update the table manually.
You can use the table function bar to go to other applications (see
Navigation
section). You can also change certain properties directly in the flight plan. You can use pushbuttons to change the following properties once you have selected the relevant row:
Edit Flight Status
You can change the flight status in the
Set User Status
dialog box.
Takeoff/Landing Parameters
You can change the takeoff and landing time and takeoff and landing location in the
Edit Flight Data
dialog box.
The flight plan displays data from the flight and the master equipment specified as the reference object in the flight. For more information on this data, see Flight and Master Equipment .
You can also display additional data from the field selection, such as:
Description of Technical Object
Description of the master equipment.
Prioritization Category
You can use the prioritization category to select between flying hours and priority (set using the usage rate in the master equipment).
Technical Status Profile
Status profile used for the technical status.
WBS Element
If the master equipment is assigned to a force element, and there is a relationship between the force element and a WBS element, this WBS element is automatically transferred to the flight.
Functional Location
Functional location to which the master equipment may be assigned (from the equipment).
Currency
Currency maintained in the flight header data.
Time Zone
Time zone that is set.
Graphical status displays:
Graphical Operational Status
Graphical Technical Status
Message texts relating to errors caused by users and other system information is displayed in this area.
Example
You call the flight status of a flight. You do not change the flight status, and choose
Confirm
. The following message text is displayed:
Flight status was not changed for flight 400.....
The area is automatically opened if the system issues a message, and is closed again automatically if you call certain other functions. All messages are also recorded in a log, which you can access by choosing the
Log
pushbutton.
You select data in the
Flight Overv.: Data Selection
dialog box
.
The selection criteria refer to the data in the flight. The
Force Element
field refers to the force element to which the master equipment is assigned.
You can prevent completed orders from being displayed by setting the relevant indicator.
Once you have selected data on starting the application, you can call the selection screen again at any time by choosing
New Selection
, and enter different selection criteria.
When you call the
Support for Flight Operations – Flight Plan
application, your default settings determine whether the system takes you to a selection screen or selects predefined data in the background.
You can use the selection criteria to control which flights are displayed in the flight plan. You can also select a standard layout and make settings for updating data.
You change the settings by choosing .
The following options are provided:
