 Flagging a Comb. Value Key for Planning

Use

In order to maintain usage probabilities, you must flag them as relevant for planning in the planning profile.

Prerequisites

Create the profile in the pre-planning tables in Demand Management. See Creating Planning Profiles for Char. Planning .

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Demand Management Next navigation step Master data Next navigation step Planning profile. End of the navigation path

  2. Select a material, then choose Change .

  3. A list of the planning profiles for the material you selected is displayed.

  4. Select the planning profile you want to edit, then choose Expand .

  5. The identifying titles of the planning tables and the associated combination value keys appear in a list.

  6. To flag a combination value key as relevant for planning, activate the planning relevancy checkbox.

  7. Save your work.

Result

When you activate a combination value key in the planning profile, the characteristic associated with the combination value key is considered during demand planning.
