 Create Planning Profile for Characteristics Planning

Prerequisites

As a prerequisite for creating a planning profile, a configurable material must exist.

Planning tables must be created in variant configuration.

  • Define the combination value keys.

  • Enter the characteristics that are to be used in the planning profiles.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Demand Management Next navigation step Master Data Next navigation step Planning Profile End of the navigation path .

  2. Enter the name of a configurable material and choose Change .

  3. Enter a new profile name and choose Select

  4. Choose ( New Entries) .

  5. Enter the name of the planning tables that you require for characteristics planning. These names flag the characteristics combination for use in demand management.

    You can use the following functions:

    • Overview: Planning Profiles

    • Detailed Display: Combination of Characteristics

    • Display Planning Characteristics

    • Delete Row

Result

The planning tables contain the combination keys that you have defined in variant configuration. You can now flag these combination keys as relevant to planning or not relevant to planning.
