Purpose

The Transformation IT process allows you to consolidate, cleanse and integrate data. You can semantically synchronize data from heterogeneous sources. Different rule types and routine types allow you to adapt transformations to suit your requirements. You can also perform currency translations and unit conversions.

Prerequisites

In order to run this process, you need an InfoProvider. You have created an InfoProvider in the Data Modeling IT process.

Process Flow

The following process runs in the BI usage type:

  1. You create transformations to consolidate the data.
  2. You define transformation rules.

Result

You have transformed data.
