Function documentationCreating Order Proposals (RWB)

You can use this function to create new order proposals.

Prerequisites

To create an order proposal, you have to be in change mode in the Replenishment Workbench.

Activities

To create order proposals, you can copy existing order proposals or create new ones. To create an order proposal, select a line in the worklist. The system adopts the selected data for the source and target locations in the dialog window.

You have the following options:

  • Create without product

Depending on your selection, you can select a vendor subrange and/or a target location for the selected source location, to create an order proposal. The system creates a temporary order proposal.

  • Create with product

Depending on your selection, you can select a vendor subrange and a target location for the selected source location. The system lists all the products you can order. Select the product. The system creates a temporary order proposal with the corresponding order proposal items.

You can then edit the temporary order proposal, for example, entering order quantities. If you create without a product, you also have to enter the products in the blank order proposal. You can enter products manually or use the system support by clicking the symbol with the quick info Display All Orderable Products. Then save the temporary order proposal. The system saves the entire order proposal including the items that have an order quantity. The system automatically rejects all order proposal items that have zero as the order quantity. As soon as you save the order proposal, you can check the grouping and release conditions.

Note Note

The system considers the product substitution in processing of order proposals.

End of the note.
