Settings in Collaborative Sales Forecasting To run Collaborative Sales Forecasting (CSF) the following settings are necessary.
You create a profile for collaborative sales forecasting in Customizing for
Supply Network Collaboration
, by choosing

→

→
Create Profiles for Collaborative Sales Forecasting.
You set the following horizons:
Display horizon
Planning horizon
Release horizon
Publish horizon
You must also set the data storage and publish bucket size.

Data storage determines whether the display, planning, and release horizons are weekly or daily. Data storage also determines the type of XML messages that SAP SNC accepts, and the time and logic of the disaggregation of the final consensus data. On a technical basis the data storage is based on daily buckets. If set to weekly, the data is aggregated from daily to weekly. For a supplier-led collaborative sales forecasting process variant, you must setWeekly. For a customer-led collaborative sales forecasting process variant, you setDailyTo define whether the publish horizon is weekly or daily you can use the publish bucket size.

You must make the following settings on the
SAP Easy Access
screen in the
Update Forecast Master Record
(/SCA/FCSTMR) transaction:
Set a Start of Week day for your location product in the
Start of week
field.
Set the
STATUS
flag toG (Forecasting without Disaggregation to Short-Term FCST)

You must set the
STATUS
flag toGto stop statistical forecast data from disaggregating and transferring to Short-Term Forecasting before a consensus finding has been run in CSF. This way, data released from CSF to Short-Term Forecasting is not overwritten should you decide to run another forecasting.
You must configure the consensus finding framework to determine the rules used for your consensus forecast calculation and condition technique. For more information about how to configure the consensus finding framework, see Sales and Order Forecasts: Settings for Consensus Finding .
