Definition

Standard rooms are based on one of the room templates that SAP delivers.

Use

Room members have access to shared data, services, and tools.

The range of options for collaboration in a room depends on the room template, which you select as a basis for the room when creating the room. The room template determined the room structure, that is, the portal pages offered in the room and the services and functions that each page contains.

When maintaining rooms, you can integrate reusable room parts in the rooms. SAP delivers standard room parts for this.
