In the last three processing steps you see the finished planning layout as a preview with your own sample values. Depending on the display tool that you chose in the second editing step you can modify the layout to fit your individual formatting requirements.
BW-BPS generates the planning layout anew whenever you make changes in the previous layout‑processing steps, or in the data basis, that affect the layout (for example, when selecting the characteristics to be used in the planning level). For this reason, it is a good idea to make the final configurations to the layout when changes like these are no longer necessary.
The automatically generated layout contains the header area and the lead and data columns. The system also generates some random data for the lead and data columns so as to give you a better idea of how the planning layout will look at the time of data entry or data display.

Remove Fixing |
In the ALV layout the lead columns are fixed by default. This means that you can only scroll through the layout as of the first data column. The lead column is always visible when you scroll down. However, if the number of lead columns exceeds the number of columns that can be displayed on the screen and the first data column falls outside of the visible area, no scroll bar appears. With layouts of this type you need to choose the Remove Fixing of Lead Columns option. The scroll bar then appears above the lead columns. |
