Data Transfer of Confirmations - Interruptibility

Caution Caution

End of the caution.

The following is also mainly valid for change transfer, transfer for comparison purposes, and refresh transfer. Where differences arise, these are documented in Change Transfer and Deletion for Project Orders/Networks , Transfer to Compare Project Orders/Networks , and Refresh Transfer to Update Project Order/Network Data .

With the confirmation, the start time of an activity is fixed to the actual start date. The actual end date determines the confirmation time, which is displayed as the start date in the activity view. To carry out scheduling with the aim of backorder processing, you can interrupt partially confirmed activities. The activity is reduced to the remaining duration and can be planned. An interruption remains valid for as long as the planned times and the partially confirmed status are transferred from SAP R/3 without changes.

Interruption is removed from an activity in SAP R/3 for the following reasons:

  • New partial confirmation

  • Final confirmation

  • Confirmation reversal

  • Rescheduling of network after the status Externally Scheduled is canceled by the report PRJ_DEALLOCATE_NETW_ACTIVITIES and control of scheduling is returned to SAP R/3.
