With the confirmation, the start time of an activity is fixed to the actual start date. The actual end date determines the confirmation time, which is displayed as the start date in the activity view. To carry out scheduling with the aim of backorder processing, you can interrupt partially confirmed activities. The activity is reduced to the remaining duration and can be planned. An interruption remains valid for as long as the planned times and the partially confirmed status are transferred from SAP R/3 without changes.
