Data Transfer of Network Header
Caution
The following is also mainly valid for change transfer, transfer for comparison purposes, and refresh transfer. Where differences arise, these are documented in Change Transfer and Deletion for Project Orders/Networks , Transfer to Compare Project Orders/Networks , and Refresh Transfer to Update Project Order/Network Data .
The basic dates of the project order are calculated from the basic dates in the network in SAP R/3. If no start date is maintained in the network, SAP APO sets the start date to 01.01.1970. If no end date is maintained in the network, SAP APO sets the end date to 12.31.2037.
In SAP APO, the validity of project orders is set to 01.01.1970-12.31.2037:
In SAP APO, to enable effectivity of constraints (project basic dates) in project order planning, you can implement Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/PRJ_INBOUND, method CHANGE_DATA_BEFORE_LC_UPDATE to transfer the basic start date to the validity period. Using this enhancement enables you to use validity alerts and take into account validity in scheduling.
The priority defined in the network in SAP R/3 is transferred to the order in SAP APO. SAP APO uses this priority in optimization .
The source location of the order in SAP APO is set to the plant in the network header in SAP R/3.
Order status in SAP APO:
Orders are created with fixed input and output.
The header status of the network in SAP R/3 is transferred.
ATP header status in SAP APO:
Not Checked – ATP check has not been carried out for any components. The missing parts indicator is not checked, and the confirmed quantity is zero for all components.
Checked and Not Confirmed – ATP check has been carried out. The missing parts indicator is checked for at least one of the components.
Checked and Partially Confirmed – ATP check has been carried out. The missing parts indicator is not checked and the confirmed quantity is lower than the requirements quantity for at least one component.
Checked and Fully Confirmed – ATP check has been carried out. The missing parts indicator is not checked, and the confirmed quantity equals the requirements quantity for all components.
The scheduling status is always set to
Scheduled
in SAP APO.
Transferred dates and times apply always to the time zone of the plant entered in the network header.
Networks without activities are either not created or deleted in SAP APO. Networks with the status ‘deleted’, ‘deletion flag’, ‘technically completed’, and ‘completed’ are not transferred to SAP APO.
