Mass Processing
Use
Only one order is displayed and processed in the detail area. You use mass processing, if you wish to execute an action for several orders at the same time.
Prerequisites
You define heuristics, which are based on algorithms programmed yourself, and then integrate these into the SAP APO system. For further information, see Creation of Heuristics with Individual Algorithms .
In Customizing for the

you have defined heuristics, found under

In a heuristic profile you define which heuristics are available for the mass processing of orders. In Customizing for the
Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO), make s
ettings for the detail profile under

Define Heuristic Profile.
Assign the heuristic profile in the
User Settings
, and define the size proportions of the screen areas. For more information about the user settings, see

Features
The mass processing is carried out using Heuristics .
Caution
SAP does not provide any standard heuristics for mass processing in
planned order management.
You have to implement the corresponding heuristics yourself.
The following are examples, for which you can implement heuristics.
Replacement of components
Fixing of several orders
Line change for all orders (change all orders from line 1 to line 3)
Release of several orders
ATP check for the components of several orders
