Data Transfer of Activity Relationships in Networks
Caution
The following is also mainly valid for change transfer, transfer for comparison purposes, and refresh transfer. Relationships between activities in different networks are not transferred.
Subnetworksare transferred as independent networks without reference to the higher-level network.
The interval between two activities in a network that are linked by a relationship is interpreted as the minimum interval. Factory calendars or work center calendars are not taken into account.
Example
In SAP R/3, a relationship exists with a duration of three days between activity 1 and activity 2. The factory calendar shows that Saturdays and Sundays are not working days.
In SAP R/3, activity 1 ends on Friday at 24:00 hours and activity 2 starts on the following Thursday at 00:00 hours.
In SAP APO, activity 1 ends on Friday at 24:00 hours, activity 2 can start at the earliest on the following Tuesday at 00:00 hours.
