Features

Selection Screen

From the selection screen you can select specific planned orders for the planning version 000 .

Background documentation

In the SAP APO system it is possible for simulation purposes, to specify different planning versions for each supply chain model. Only one model and its versions can be active at once. The active model and the active version are both named 000.

You can select planned orders according to different criteria, such as horizon, location, product, components, planner, iPPE line element, resources, order number or an alternative order identification.

Note Note

You cannot search within a certain horizon only. You must select at least one of the other selection criteria. If you do not enter a start and end date for the horizon, all planned orders which correspond to the chosen selection criteria will be searched for in the past and in the future. Restrict the selection to increase system performance.

End of the note.

You can change the selection using selection rules. You first implement the selection rules using the Business Add-In (BAdI) /SAPAPO/POM_SELECT . The system then displays these on the selection screen. For further information, see Customizing for the Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) under Start of the navigation path Supply Chain Planning Next navigation step Production Planning and Detail Scheduling (PP/DS) Next navigation step Planned Order Management Next navigation step Business Add-In (BAdI) Next navigation step Define Selection Rules. End of the navigation path

You can further restrict the selection by using characteristic filters . You can only use characteristic filters for orders from configurable products that are based on a product variant structure (PVS) and for which a characteristic value assignment has been carried out. You can create characteristic filters from the selection screen. The object dependency editor is provided for creating logical expressions. If you have activated the enhanced dependency editor in Customizing for iPPE, then this is also available for maintaining the object dependency in the characteristic filter.

For further information, see Customizing Settings for the Enhanced Editor
