Cost Estimate: Detailed Reports for a Cost Estimate

Use

This workbook provides the following information on a material cost estimate:

Fixed and variable costs as proportion of total cost
Overall costs incurred in the lower levels as a proportion of the costs incurred in the last production level and of the total cost
The cost component split is displayed sorted by cost component, while the cost components are sorted by cost component group

This combination enables all possible analyses of a cost estimate based on the available information. For time-based analyses, use the workbook Cost Estimate: Overview of All Cost Estimates for a Material.

Before you refresh a workbook in the analyzer, make sure the cursor is not positioned on a query. If the cursor is positioned on a query, only that query is refreshed.

Structure

The navigation blocks in the first two queries are hidden because it would not have been appropriate to change the drilldowns. In the third query, the drilldown by cost components can be removed.

Due to the restrictions that had to be made in the queries, only certain cost estimates are displayed in this workbook. If you want to display other cost estimates, see the documentation on the individual queries for more information.
