This regular report displays the materials in a plant with the largest ranges of coverage based on the previous period. The approximate range of coverage (in days) is calculated using the following formula:
Ending inventory quantity / Consumption quantity * 30
This figure serves as a parameter for measuring the amount of capital tied up in inventory.
The query contains an exception that flags critical coverage ranges. The selected intervals highlight ranges of 30 days or more in yellow and 60 days or more in red.
If the selection based on the valuation class is not sufficient for your purposes, you can easily add additional selection criteria through material attributes. You can define conditions so that materials with negligible inventory values are not displayed.
