Creating a GEP, BPP, or SPP Format Project
When designing a GEP, BPP, or SPP format project, the format project is displayed in a tree structure in the Format Explorer area of the Electronic File Manager: Format Definition add-on.
You add source files and only one target file to each mapping. For the GEP and BPP format project, you can add only RPT source files. Both BPP and SPP format projects have a predefined source file for the first default mapping.
Caution
Any change to the schema of the predefined XML source files might result in unsuccessful SPP format projects. Therefore, you should work with SPP format projects under the following conditions:
You intend to design an SPP format project for either the Mexico or the Italy localization.
You use only the predefined XML source files without changing the schema.
