Creating a GEP or BPP Format Project 
You have started the Electronic File Manager: Format Definition add-on.
In the SAP Business One menu bar, choose . The Electronic File Manager: Format Definition (EFM) add-on opens.
To create a new GEP or BPP format project, do one of the following:
On the start page of the EFM add-on, under Create a new format project, click Generic Electronic File Format Project for GEP or Bank Payment File Format Project for BPP.
Click
(New) or choose , and do the following:
In the Create a New Format dialog box, do one of the following:
To create a GEP format, select
(Generic Electronic File Format Project).
To create a BPP format, select
(Bank Payment File Format Project).
Enter the format name.
Specify the file path by choosing the ellipsis button and select a directory.
Choose the OK button.
A default mapping is created.

For the BPP format, the RPT file “Payment wizard run results” is automatically added to the Source folder and its read-only format tree structure appears on a default mapping tab of the Workspace area.
To add a source file for the format project, do the following:
In the format explorer, right-click the Source folder and choose .
In the Open dialog box, select an .rpt file and choose the Open button.
The source file is added to the Source folder and its format structure appears on the mapping tab.
The RPT source file is displayed in a tree structure based on the following rules:
Report Header: Ignored if the report header is hidden or suppressed by the SAP Crystal Reports software.
Report Footer: Ignored if the report footer is hidden or suppressed by the SAP Crystal Reports software.
Page Header: Ignored
Page Footer: Ignored
Details: Ignored if the details are hidden or suppressed by the SAP Crystal Reports software.
Group Header: Ignored if the group header is hidden or suppressed by the SAP Crystal Reports software.
Group Footer: Ignored if the group footer is hidden or suppressed by the SAP Crystal Reports software.
Text: Ignored
Field: Displayed as a node
Others: Ignored
Note
You can add more than one source file for a mapping. All the source format trees are read only and you cannot edit them.
To add a target file for the format project, right-click the Target folder, choose Add, select one of the following types, and specify the target file:

You can add only one target file for a mapping.
XML:
Import an XML schema: Select an existing XML schema file.
Import the structure from an XML document: Select an XML file that contains the structure you want to import.
Create an XML structure: Adds an empty XML structure to the Target folder.
CSV:
Import structure from a CSV document: Select an existing CSV file and specify the CSV configuration data.
Create a CSV structure: Adds an empty CSV structure to the Target folder.
TXT: Adds an empty TXT structure to the Target folder.

To create additional mappings, do one of the following and repeat the previous steps:
Choose .
Click
(Add Mapping).
