Checking the DATEV Tax Code Assignment
The assignment of the DATEV tax code to the tax codes in SAP Business One is defined in a mapping table in the program. The first time this table is called, the DATEV interface transfers all the tax codes from SAP Business One, together with the appropriate predefined DATEV tax codes. If this data has changed (e.g. because you added user-defined tax groups), the export of the relevant data cannot be performed as usual. As a result, prior to the data export you need to check that the DATEV tax code has been correctly assigned to the tax codes in SAP Business One and, if required, makes changes to the assignment.
Note
We recommend that you have your tax consultant confirm the proper use and assignment of the tax codes.
To access the entry screen for the DATEV FI interface, choose Datev Settings on the Accounting Data tab in .
Note
After the DATEV FI interface is installed, the Datev Settings button appears in the bottom left of the Accounting Data tab in addition to the standard fields.
Choose the Tax Codes button. In the mapping table, the system illustrates the assignment of the DATEV tax codes to the tax codes in SAP Business One.
Check this assignment and make any required changes.
Note
The DATEV FI interface transfers the tax codes that were defined in SAP Business One. In this table, you can only change the DATEV assignment for existing tax codes. If you want to create new tax codes for SAP Business One or delete existing tax codes, you can do so in SAP Business One. To do this, select .
Save your entries.
All the tax codes have been assigned properly. You can now export data.
