Prerequisites

You have updated the quotations in your Quotations folder in Microsoft Outlook (see Importing Quotations to Microsoft Outlook).

Procedure

  1. In Microsoft Outlook, select your Quotations folder.

A list of all quotations that you imported from SAP Business One is displayed.

  2. To display an entire quotation, double-click the quotation.

In the Quotations window that appears, you can:

    • View the quotation details (such as customer, posting date and item prices)

    • Edit the quotation

      Note Note

The Valid To date should fall within a 90 day period of the posting date. For example, when the posting date is June 1, 2005, entering September 1, 2006 as the Valid To date generates a warning message.

      End of the note.

If you enter a quotation that exceeds the Due Date To in the Posting Period window, an error occurs. To resolve this, do one of the following:

    • Enter a new date (Posting Date or Valid To) that does not exceed the posting period.

    • In the Posting Period window, change the Due Date To entry to a later date.

  3. After you edit the quotation, choose from the following:

    • Recalculate: SAP Business One recalculates the line and document totals in the quotation.

    • Update: The edited quotation is saved in SAP Business One.

    • Send: The edited quotation is saved in SAP Business One and created as a Microsoft Word document that can be sent as an E-mail attachment.
